A date should be fun but there are fears involved when you don't know a person. If this person is someone you met on line or from a dating service, the odds are you have no friends in common to get information from.

A stranger may be just someone you haven't met yet, but strangers can hide things from you, things that can hurt you.

Its time to take off the rose colored glasses and find out what the fears can be. Its important to know if he is married and if he is, of course it means he is lying to you. Remember if he cheats on a wife, he will cheat on you too. Don't think that you are better for him and that it will work out. This just don't happen in real life and down the road, you will be the wife or girlfriend that is being cheated on. This is not a future that you want.

Disease is a very big fear. If a person is playing the field and having many bed partners, you stand a good chance of getting something. It doesn't matter if he is married or single in this case. Everyone he has sex with, you are having sex with also. Not having sex right away is the best solution and when you do, use protection. Its best to get to know someone well before sex. No person is worth throwing your life away for and even if it is not a life threatening disease,it still is something you may have to tell someone special someday and you may be shunned by friends and family.

Another fear is any criminal activities. If he seems to hang around people that have doubtful life styles and don't seem to have a regular job but still have money, be careful.

People that are into criminal things may not look as you would think they should. They can be clean cut business people or like the timid neighbor you think can do no wrong.
