Working at Home, Playing it SafeWith the economy trembling, millions around the world are looking into working at home. And no wonder. Depending on an outside business to sustain you is risky. There's always the risk that you can lose your job, or that the company goes under.

In light this, thousands have launched their own home-based business. But making that leap from the corporate world with its suits and ties to the home-business world with it's pajamas and, well, you get the point -- it's a frightening thought.

But aside from the shaky knees, there are three absolutely crucial reasons to work at home.

1. Self-Determination

When you work at home, you are the one doing the work, calling the shots, and making decisions. You don't have to worry about the guy ahead of you jeopardizing your career, family and livelihood. Instead, the ball is in your court. Or your spouse's. Something like that.

2. Financial Security

With the economy looking like a frightened cat about to be devoured by a ravaging pit bull, well, you need to be prepared. Get that extra stream of income going. There's no telling how the business world is going to be affected. But we do know one thing -- it isn't looking good. Starting your own business can guarantee one thing -- that you certainly won't have to worry about getting laid off.

3. No Income Cap

Working your 9-5 gives you a certain cap to how much money you make. You get paid by the hour. This means there is a set cap on how much you can make -- you are being held back by your job.

Freeing yourself from the shackles of everyday jobs is the first step to financial security, self-determination and flexibility. It just takes some determination, a bit of business savvy that you can learn online.

Deciding to take the work at home plunge was one of the best decision I ever made. However, I didn't do it blindly -- I did it following the system -- I learned how to work at home by establishing myself through organization and optimization. The reasoning alone just doesn't cut it. You have to have "oomph" to your dreams. Every business needs a business plan. So get your plan together, or your "Code" as some call it, and take the plunge. It'll be one of the best decisions you'll ever make.
