A trip to Las Vegas can easily cost you a pretty penny, but there are many things to consider which can help you save as much of your hard earned money as possible. Hopefully these Las Vegas money savings tips will help you get the most for your money, and still have an incredible experience to remember.

First of all, take the time to consider why you are going to be in Las Vegas. Are you going for a well earned vacation? Is a business trip bringing you to the area? Think about the majority of activities you would like to do while you are in Vegas. Are you anxiously waiting to win the jackpot in the casino, or are you looking forward to sight seeing? All of these factors should come into play when you are deciding which hotel you will want to stay at.

There is a vast selection of hotels to choose from. Most of the ones along the strip will run a higher rate than those that are a little off the beaten path. However, if you are planning on spending a lot of time in the many different casinos, it may actually end up being cheaper for you to stay on the strip. It gives you quick and easy access to most of the biggest casinos without having to pay for transportation. Also realize that while you are in Vegas you probably won’t be tucked away in your hotel room for much of the time. Is having an extravagant room really important to you when you are only going to be sleeping there?

Las Vegas is astoundingly hot during the summer and still pretty warm any other time of year. Instead of buying expensive water as you are strolling along the strip, bring a case of water with you and store it in your room. Remember that the strip is miles long although it may not appear to be that long when you first step out from your hotel. Always have a bottle of water in hand when heading out.

One of the best Las Vegas money savings tips is something that is pretty much true anywhere you go; visit during the week. You’ll often find cheaper hotel deals on a weekday. It doesn’t really matter what day you visit because Vegas is always jumping with activity.

For cheap eats head to the sourdough café which offers up a steak and eggs plate at only $2.99!
