Once you know what webpages you are going to optimize for the keywords you're targeting, perform the 8 Tasks in the list below to complete the "onpage" optimization of your SEO campaign.

When you're done, make sure to let us know by emailing us at support@rankpay.com. We'll verify that your page is optimized correctly and then begin your SEO campaign!

Selecting the Web pages to Optimize
The first thing you need to do is to decide on a Web page within your website that you
want optimized for each keyword you've submitted to RankPay.  It's highly recommended that
you choose existing web pages instead of creating new ones (it takes a long time for new
pages to get indexed by search engines, especially Google).

Which pages should I choose?
If your homepage is not already being optimized for other keywords it's best to use it.
You can also use other pages that have content similar to the keywords being targeted.
Another option is to simply add or change content on a page to match the keyword.

Although it is not required, selecting pages that have a higher Google PageRank rating
greatly increase our ability to get rankings for you.

How many keywords can I assign to the same page?
You can select up to 2 words per page.  If the keywords actually share words within the
keyphrase, you can use up to 4. We provide help and video tutorials to assist you in selecting pages.

Preparing Your Page for Optimization
There are 2 types of search engine optimization: "onpage optimization" and " offpage
optimization".   Google, Yahoo and other top search engines lean much more on
optimization factors to determine their rankings.

Onpage optimization are specific things that are done to the Web page itself like placing
keywords throughout the content and in the page's Title.  This part of SEO is the easiest
to accomplish and can often be completed within 15 minutes per page.  It doesn't require
that you know HTML but it helps (or you can have your webmaster do it).

Offpage optimization consists of the most critical tasks in achieving rankings in the
search engines.  These tasks are usually very time consuming and include getting the right
number of links to your site, obtaining the links from the right sites, and being sure that
the right amount of links are obtained.  It also includes submitting your site to
relevant directories as well as social media and bookmarking sites.

RankPay specializes in offpage optimization and we take care of all of these tasks for you
on a monthly basis.

8 Onpage SEO Tasks

  1. Title Tag - Make sure the exact keyword is in the title tag. The title should consist of this keyword and 1-3 additional words. It's also best to place the keyword farther to the left. If you are using the same webpage for multiple keywords use a | to separate them.
