Many have seen. Many have desired. Many are waiting. And they are still waiting.

The new Chevrolet Camaro has been making such a buzz in the industry and many consumers are clamoring to own one. The hype was even upped when the hit movie Transformers was shown on the silver screen and the Chevrolet Camaro played a big part in the movie as the vehicle version of AutoBot Bumblebee. However, these consumers would have to have patience for it seems like General Motors has delayed the production of the vehicle. Rumors are going around the industry that instead of being available in the market by the end of this year, the Chevy Camaro would be making its way to dealerships by 2010. However, there seems to be no changes with regards to the arrival of the versions of the vehicle - the coupe version arrives first and it is going to be followed by the convertible after a couple of months.

Consumers may really be nearing the edge of going totally crazy for aside from the movie Transformers, the Chevrolet Camaro has also been seen rolling through the streets in some of the country’s cities. Not that General Motors has already sold units of the vehicle before the actual production started. These Chevy Camaro vehicles seen are actually units on test drives. And maybe, experts believe, it is also General Motors’ way of adding to the whole hype which could help the vehicle’s sales once it arrives in dealerships.

Production of the vehicle is going to start by February next year and it would be done in the car maker’s Oshawa plant which is located in Ontario, Canada. Each year, the company aims to create 100,000 units of the vehicle.

If you really are excited and all hyped up to own one of these exceptional Chevrolet Camaros, you can start finding a General Motors or Chevrolet dealership in your locality. These dealerships are already going to start accepting orders late this year. No date has been set yet when orders can be made so you would have to always be on the alert so you could be one of the first owners of the vehicle.

The original Chevrolet Camaro has been in the industry from 1967 to 2002. This pony car has gained a lot of followers because of its unique style and exceptional power and performance. It has also been mentioned in quite a number of songs and has become quite a popular culture icon.
