If you are like me, when you find a new product you try to find out as much information as you can about it. Thanks to the Internet, information on just about anything is very easily accessible with just a few keystrokes. The problem I see is with such a vast amount of information how do you weed out the good information from the bad, and how can you tell which is which? Unfortunately I do not have the answer.

Goji berries are one of those products that is in the midst of much debate. One of the biggest ones is where Goji's come from and what difference if any does that make. Some people believe that if Goji berries do not come from Tibet then they are no good and yet others don't think it makes much of a difference. Where the berries come from is not my biggest concern.

My greatest concern is that some companies claim to be the only ones that carry the Authentic Goji Berries and they state that if you do not buy from them or another company that resells their products that you are not getting the Authentic Goji Berries. I compare that to someone saying that they carry authentic apples and unless you are buying from them you are not getting an Authentic Apple. If this sounds ludicrous to you then we agree.

Who gives people the authority to say that they are the only ones that can provide the best of something? The next problem I have with these claims is that besides a lot of text and say so, they have no visible proof that they are the only ones to carry authentic products. So if they have no proof then why should we as the consumer have to pay more for something just because a company claims that they have the only true authentic Goji berries?

Because there are so many different varieties of Goji Berries I think it would be very hard to determine which one of these is the authentic Goji Berry and further more it would be like saying that a Granny Smith is better then Red Delicious. My advice is don't always go with the first company that you see, shop around a little bit and don't believe everything a company tells you.
