BalPEx aims to be the meeting place for professionals in the real estate sector

The real estate investment company Karrat Group Ltd, which is currently developing City of Fountains, one of Sofia’s most ambitious property projects, is to attend the Balkan Property Exhibition (BalPEx), which will take place from 18 to 20 April in Sofia’s Inter Expo Centre.

The real estate and urban development exhibition BalPEx aims to provide clients with first-hand experience about what is currently being offered on the Bulgarian market and abroad. The exhibition aims to become the focus of foreign investment interest by giving a clear idea of the local market and the main factors for its development.

Participants at the exhibition include various companies, institutions, and individuals related to the property sector, such as real estate companies, construction and architecture firms, financial and insurance companies, property and project management, information systems and technologies, specialized media.

Visitors to the event include end customers (both firms and individuals), investors and investment funds, professionals in the real estate sector – architects, engineers, and consultants, real estate agencies and consultants, as well as firms offering investment, construction, and real estate services.

Over 240 companies took part at the exhibition last year, and a similar number will attend this month’s event. BalPEx 2007 was visited by over 15 000 firms and individuals, looking to establish business contacts and explore offers. 77% of them stated their determination for a repeat visit this year.

City of Fountains, the project which Karrat Group is currently developing, has the ambitious aim of becoming the first complex designed to meet the demands of modern property seekers – successful professionals and young families.

The first stage of the project will be completed in the beginning of 2009. The complex is located within walking distance from Business Park Sofia, South East Europe’s largest and fastest developing business and office complex. When completed, it will consist of 18 residential and 2 office buildings, and will boast unique landscape, exterior, and interior design.
