Erectile dysfunction or ED is the most common sexual problem among men. It can occur among men in any age group. However, in older men, the chances of erectile dysfunction are more. Erectile dysfunction is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection firm enough to have satisfactory sex. The approval of Viagra brought big relief as erectile dysfunction treatment became easy for affected men.

About Viagra

Viagra is a prescription drug manufactured by pharmaceutical company Pfizer. It helps treat erectile dysfunction problem in men. According to its manufacturer, Viagra has helped treat erectile dysfunction in millions of men worldwide.

How does Viagra work?

Viagra works only when you feel the need. It can not work if you are not sexually stimulated. Viagra is not a sex driver. Before knowing about working of Viagra, you should know about how erection happens in men.

There are arteries in the penis which bring regular blood supply to the organ. During sexual excitement, this blood flow increases to bring the penis into an erect state. Viagra works by regulating the blood supply to the penis. This makes the penis hard and erection lasts long enough to complete satisfying sexual activity. While Viagra helps treat erectile dysfunction problem temporarily, it can also have some side effects. So you should always consult your GP before commencing any form of treatment.

What are the available dosages of Viagra?

Viagra is available in tablet form in three strengths of 25mg, 50mg, and 100mg. You should take only the recommended dosage of Viagra. If you overdose, then possibility of side effects may arise. However, it is always better to take prescription medications such as Viagra under proper medical guidance.

The recommended dosage of Viagra should be taken 30 minutes to half an hour before sexual intercourse. It works best when taken with empty stomach.

What are side effects associated with Viagra?

Like all prescription drugs, Viagra also has some side effects. The most common side effects include headache, facial flushing, and upset stomach. Some men may also experience rare side effects such as blurred vision or sensitivity to light. The common side effects of Viagra usually vanish after few hours. However, if you experience any complications due to intake of Viagra dosage, then you should immediately consult your GP.

If you experience extended erection of four hours or more after taking dosage of Viagra – also known as pripiasm, then you should seek immediate medical help to avoid any damage to your penis.

How can you buy Viagra online?

You have a choice to buy viagra online or from any licensed local pharmacy. You should possess a valid prescription, which enables you to buy Viagra. Although taking online consultation from a licensed online clinic may be convenient, it can not replace face-to-face consultation with your GP.

Using Viagra is not a treatment. Viagra works if you take it. It's better to use Extagen which really treats.

I don't know whether Extagen treats or not but it works much better than Viagra and doesn’t have side effects, such as head ache.
