Online Network Marketing – Keys to Success

Whether you are a rookie network marketer or have been in the industry for 20 years, I’m sure you realize that the internet plays a key roll in the success of your business. If you have done any research about internet marketing, I’m also sure you have become overwhelmed with the amount of information that is available to you.

If you do an internet search for "online network marketing" you will find numerous programs available on how to effectively market on the internet. They will all teach you the same basic techniques and strategies, and yes, they do work if they are applied correctly. In fact many of them work quite well and do a lot of the work for you. There is no reason to reinvent the wheel. Learn from those that have been successful and do what they have done.

There are three key factors that will determine your success in any given online marketing program:

1) Be committed and persistent. Remember, success does not happen overnight. It will take time for you to build any business. Ray Kroc began his journey with one small hamburger strand in San Bernardino, CA in 1954. Look what it has grown into today. Network marketing is no different. Be committed to growing your business and consistently work on it everyday. You must also be persistent and not give up just because you don’t see success immediately. Growing a business is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep your eye on the long term goal and work everyday to get one step closer to that goal. Give an advertising campaign a chance to prove itself. Some of the best campaigns I have used started out the first day looking like complete failures when in fact they were just slow starters. Once they got off the ground and picked up steam they turned out to be home runs. 2) Diversify your marketing efforts. Don’t place all your eggs in one basket. All successful companies today use many forms of marketing to sell their company. You will see the same companies using TV, radio and print ads to market their company. Do the same with your online efforts. Use articles, blogs, forums, youtube, pay per click, myspace and others to market your company. All good online marketing programs will show you how to use all these and more. 3) Track your efforts. This is by far the number one key to your success and it ties in with the other two keys. If you don’t have a way of tracking which marketing campaigns are working and which aren’t, it’s like a major league baseball player stepping to the plate with a blindfold on. Sure he might get lucky and connect on a few pitches, but there will be no consistency. If you are tracking your efforts you will be able to know quickly where to concentrate your efforts. Keep doing the things that are working and change the things that aren’t. By tracking your marketing campaigns it will be come easier to stay committed. Imagine the excitement you feel when you discover a pay per click ad that is converting clicks to leads at a 20% rate. How anxious will you be to try and find another marketing campaign that can do the same? The internet has given network marketers access to an endless number of prospects which makes our industry unbelievably exciting. We now have the ability to build a huge organization in a fraction of the time it would take with traditional marketing efforts. Use this to your advantage and follow the keys I have given you here. There are no guarantees in life, only ways to improve your odds.
