There are several things on Earth that are relatively small yet have a bigger capability and higher potential in terms of function. In the world of automobiles, several notable producers and products can as well be compared to the above mentioned characteristics. Porsche’s car models may not have big wheels and big bodies yet they posses exclusive capabilities. Porsche is a German based car make distributed around the world. The very first Porsche was designed by Ferdinand Porsche. He was also the one who designed the first Volkswagen beetle. Since the 1950’s, Porsche had been winning prestigious races both in the country and abroad. In 1970, one of Porsche car’s winnings is from the 24 Hours of Le Mans from which it garnered the grand prize. Porsche also joined a Formula 1 in 1962 and won as the champion.

Today, Porsche has declined its racing cars production due to some problems with finances but focused instead to marketing private cars. However in 2005, another Porsche model had joined an ALMS season and won the fifth position. Several original Porsche parts that were used for racing cars were still employed to the Porsche RS Spyder prototype. No doubt the result still proves remarkable.
