Plymouth, MI–"Homeowners in Wayne, Oakland andWashtenaw County no longer need to search high and low for good, honest home improvement advice. Thanks to WAAM talk radio and their local Ann Arbor handyman Keith A. Paul, reliable tips and information is now just a click away on their radio dial."
"It’s YOUR Home" is a new weekly home improvement talk radio show on WAAM talk 1600. The show airs every Saturday 11am-1pm following the "Appliance Doctor Show" with Joe Gagnon. "The listeners were requesting a home improvement talk show with a local flavor," Says Joe Gagnon, The Consumer and Appliance Doctor. "We needed someone with credibility and who knows the business." The show can also be heard on the internet at http://waamannarbor.com/.
"To satisfy their radio audience, WAAM contacted Paul, a Michigan licenses builder and owner of HandyPro Handyman Service in Plymouth, MI, who agreed to host the show. Paul and his company have been servicing the Metro Detroit area with home improvements since 1996. His company has also franchised his business in Minnesota, Texas, Louisiana and Hawaii.
In addition to answering home improvement questions live on the air, the show has included topics such as "Top 9 things Every Homeowner Must Know to Keep Their Home Safe", "What Every Homeowner Must Know Before Hiring a Contractor" and "25 Must Do’s on your Spring "To Do" list."
"But answering audience questions on air is always the biggest crowd pleaser." Says David L. Drolshagen, General Manager of WAAM, "From day one, we have received many more calls on air then expected with questions on their home."
"It’s YOUR Home" also gives one gift per show to listeners who answer a trivia question. One of the recent trivia questions was "What is one product in your kitchen that can help remove minor scratches in your home?" Cathy from Ann Arbor won two tickets to The Harlem Glob Trotters for calling in with the correct answer – olive oil."
"It’s YOUR Home," runs on Saturdays from 11am-1pm WAAM Talk 1600. For more information on HandyPro Handyman they can be reached at (800)942-6394 or www.handypro.com
