Advertisers Suitable For Blogs

Some online advertising companies have tried to get the bloggers to give exclusivity of their blogs to one agency alone. That model is unlikely. It is likely that the bloggers would want to have more ads deploy so that they can diversify the payment rates. For example, a blogger can deploy three ads where the online advertising agency pays at different times. So, it is not sensible for them to give exclusive rights. The problem gets worse when it comes to prominent bloggers who command high traffic. If they give away their exclusive rights (unless they are given better incentives than the rest), the online advertising agency needs to justify why there is a preferential treatment.

Blog ads require different creative tactics. Like the blog itself, successful blog ads rely heavily on content. A successful ad might be an image, plus several different sections or headlines; another might be a headline, an image, and some thought-provoking text. The best blog ad looks like actual blog content.

A flood of book, TV, movie, and music advertisers are spending money on blog advertising. While most blog advertising is now aimed at consumers, there's huge opportunity for business to business because many of the blogs with the largest audiences are business-focused.

Affiliate Power Ads is an affiliate ad network owned by Russell Brunsen. It is totally free to join. After signup you simply enter your affiliate ids for 5 great affiliate programs. Then you can add ads like the one at the top of Blog Advertising to your website or blog. The products are internet marketing related so they are a perfect fit for Blog Advertising. Brunsen’s site is affiliatepowerads.com/index.html

One that I use since it allows you to enter your own keywords so that the display ads are relevant to your blog content. The site is Crispads.com. I personally like the keyword idea.

A blog is a web site that is actually a system of connected pages (or rather posts) that are organized by date with the most recent post presented first. Blog advertising is simply the advertising connected with a blog. These include banner ads, text ads, text links, and sponsored posts.

At present, I am looking for advertisers for my blog. I am in a very narrow niche market where the traffic count is not in the 1000s per day. One advantage of a niche market is that those who do visit your blog would be the end users of any product or service that was being offered. To me this would be ideal for certain advertisers.

For example, if you wrote a hard covered book or a E-book on any aspect of bladder cancer, my site would be a perfect place for you to advertise. My blog only deals with all aspects of bladder cancer. I am a bladder cancer survivor.

I personally feel that this is the type of advertising that a niche blog is going to attract. A product or service directly linked to the content of the blog. As I stated earlier, my blog is a end user blog. There is no way that I will ever attract the ‘just curious’ to view my blog. My blog will only attract those that have bladder cancer and those who have been recently diagnosed with this devastating disease and are scared as hell. They are seeking help, advice and comfort.

Finally, if you are blogging in a niche market do you best to find products and services that will compliment the content of your blog. Otherwise, I do not feel that we will not make a dollar.

If you have a product or service that would fit into the content of a ‘bladder cancer’ blog, then I would like to hear from you.
