My wife and I are getting set to make a big move. I have recently accepted a position with a new company and must move to Southern California in order to be close to my new employer. With the real estate market in the condition it’s currently in we have had to deal with a couple of fears. First and foremost we are afraid that the home we currently live in will either never sell or will require an extended period of time to sell, which means my wife will have to stay behind to finish the sale of our home. Our second fear is that we might now be able to find a home as close to my new office as we like to find.
As it stands now, we have made three trips to cities near to my new employer. We’ve looked at Laguna Hills Real Estate, Irvine real estate, and Laguna Beach real estate. All three communities where both beautiful and close to work however we have yet to commit to any home as we are waiting to see if the price drops any further on two of the three homes we are considering. If there are no further price drops we may need to look at another nearby area which are all nice too from what we have seen but are a bit farther from the business as we’d like them to be.
So far though we have been most impress with the homes we’ve seen while looking at Laguna Hills Real Estate. Almost every home we’ve walked through has impressed us in one or more areas and the homes all provide spacious living quarters with all the amenities one would expect from a more upscale neighborhood. The homes in Laguna Hills are also very close to shopping centers and schools which is important to us as we have three young children. In addition to this, the community is very quiet and very safe which is also important to us. We will have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that the home in Laguna that we favor comes down a bit more.
The one thing we have done however, that I recommend all prospective buyers do is to get pre-approved for a loan. This is always a good idea but these days it’s even more important and helps ensure that when you find a house you love, there won’t be any issues getting into it. It’s also nice to know exactly what you can and can’t afford which makes looking for suitable houses much easier!
