The most popular thief methods:

Thefts from vehicles – someone knocks on the window from one side and asks for something or shows a fake problem which has happened to his car. In the meantime his mate silently opens the door from the other side and grabs anything what is valuable from the seat or compartment box and runs away. -
Help with the luggage – the stranger offers its help to carry the luggage. Sometimes he doesn’t even wait for the reaction of the tourist and grabs the most valuable looking trunk or a bag with the purchases, or the theft occurs when the owner of the luggage diverts his attention.
-
Pushing the victim – the criminal pushes its victim in the crowd, passage or escalator. The theft succeeds best when the victim holds another person while falling and has to apologize him. In the meantime valuable things disappear from the pockets and bags.
