Having your website indexed by search engines can take up to six weeks if you submit your website to them through their submission URLs (for Google, it is http://www.google.com/addurl.html). This is definitely NOT a good news especially if you want to be able to see results as soon as you have launched your website so that you can make improvements on it as days will go by in order to be able to speed up the results of your marketing concept. This could be frustrating as well. But, as unbelievable as it is, there IS a way for your website to be indexed by search engines within 24 hours!

Steps (These steps were paraphrased/summarized from Brad Callen's SEO Made Easy eBook):

1.First thing you need to do is to download Google's PageRank toolbar for free by going to http://toolbar.google.com.
2.Go to Google and enter the broadest keyword you can think of that's best suited to your website. You will find a list of results.
3.Check out the websites and pay particular attention to the Google PageRank of the site (you will be able to see the page rank gauge on the toolbar. The PageRank is measured by the number of websites and the importance of the websites linking to the website you are checking out. Generally, the more websites that links to a particular website, the higher the Page Rank of that particular website will be).
4.Find websites that have Page Ranks of 5 or higher.
5.After doing this, check if they have links pages. You can usually find these through their index pages usually under resources, links, related sites, etc.).
6.Search these websites for their contact information or information on getting a link from one of their high Page Rank webpages.
7.Send them emails asking if they will link to your website in return for your linking back to their website. Once you do this correctly, they will most likely respond and place a link on their website to yours. Once you get a PR5 website to link to your website, you will be indexed by Google in under 3 days. If you can get once PR6 website to link to you, then in under 24 hours, you are guaranteed to be in Google's index!

Persuading high ranking websites to link to your newly-launched website is tough, and if all these steps that I have outlined would yield no results, then you could resort to the easiest and fastest way to make sure that you are indexed by Google within 24 hours, guaranteed. You can do this by purchasing text links from high ranking websites. You can purchase a PR7 link for a month for a fixed, one-time rate of, say about $150, and you can get indexed within 24 hours, no sweat. Once you are already indexed, you can exert all efforts, with no holds barred, into optimizing and marketing your site.
