In order to succeed in business you have to develop skills. Not all skills are skills of the trade. If fact the most important skills can be the way you think, how you react, and how you relate. Through personal growth type training you can achieve success beyond your wildest imagination.

  1. Acknowledge and take responsibility for your wrong doing. Once we stop denying and blaming others, we are then able to move forward. We are in a much better position to learn from our mistakes.

  2. Always be open to step up to a challenge, even if it is out of your comfort zone, knowing that fear is always going to come with anything that is going to stretch you.

  3. Productivity is of great value, but do not confuse it with just being busy. There is a big difference between accomplishment and just activity. Too often people run around shuffling papers, running back and forth to meetings, talking on their cell phones but they never accomplish anything. It's all just movement which equals activity vs. accomplishment which equals productivity.

  4. Be strong and resilient. As you climb closer to your goals and desires you will more than likely encounter obstacles along the way. If you practice strength in who you are and have the sense of being grounded you will be able to bend and bounce back giving way to the obstacles and therefore going with the flow of life.

  5. Celebrate every accomplishment. As you reach your goals, little by little, take the time to recognize your accomplishments. This will bring you joy as you reflect on your achievement, setting you up for more achievement.

  6. Surround yourself with people who have achieved what you desire to achieve or at least have the desire to be successful. When you surround yourself with like minded people, the synergistic effect can create great financial success.

  7. Learn leadership skills. Leadership skills will automatically take you to higher levels of success just by learning the simple principals of how to be a leader. People will be attracted to those that show leadership.

  8. Do not be afraid to think big. Big thinking leads to big success.

  9. Living the life of the entrepreneur can give you more leverage as you build residual income by plugging into systems that create income. Be in control of your life. Live you’re life with more time and financial freedom..

  10. Display confidence. When you have confidence and charisma, people will want to do business with you because they feel your certainty. When you have certainty, people will follow you. With confidence you can achieve all levels of success.

Really appreciate the article, and your advice. Thanks! I also wanted to share something I read recently. In Harmonic Wealth, James Ray said, "If your not growing, you’re dying." Six simple words that I really needed to hear. I guess it was because I was complaining to my friend that I just wasn't feeling stimulated enough. It wasn't as if I was doing anything "bad" in my life, so I was not sure why I was not feeling right. After learning this idea, I realized that "staying at even par" is not enough. That bad feeling was because by not growing, I was staying in the same place, just plodding along towards my death in a way. Doing nothing has negative consequences. But if I was to start growing, I would be moving my life forward, expanding it into something much more exciting! That’s what living is all about. After I finished reading Harmonic Wealth, I realized I needed to commit myself to a lifetime of learning – it did not end when I threw my graduation cap in the air. Check it out for yourself… Here’s the link to the website where I bought the book: harmonicwealth.com/read a James Ray Enthusiast
