Traveling anywhere can be exciting but can get overwhelming if you are not properly informed. When you are on vacation you want to maximize your time wisely, especially when choosing where to hang out every night. That is why we are proud to bring you a new series of nightlife information to keep you informed on where to go. This week we spent six days traveling through California to Nevada. Our trip started as two days in Los Angeles CA, 2 days in San Diego, CA, and finally 2 days in Las Vegas, NV. We flew out from our home base in Chicago, IL and three hours later found ourselves in sunny California. The party started at the beautiful Omni Hotel. Nightlife in LA is as diverse as its people. It’s one of the busiest cities in the world and one of the best places to party all night. When the sun goes down the bright lights come on and the diversity of good times begin. Many of the world’s biggest hip hop and rock musicians call the area home. Posh clubs, celebrity filled parties, indie hipster clubs, and an array of bars are just the beginning. Most of the hot spots in LA have very short lived runs, but nightlife directories like Ploose can help you stay on top of the newest, latest night time spots.

Nightlife in San Diego, CA is all about chilling in style, so we rented the new 2008 Range Rover HSE for the three hour trip south to San Diego. San Diego is the world’s finest city with a great vibe and hot nightlife. We needed an insider’s perspective into the hottest clubs, bars, and lounges in San Diego. We couldn’t decide how we were feeling that night. Whether you are looking to get dressed up and show off in a sexy lounge ambiance or the ultra-hip style and cameras of a downtown club there are options for you. From supper-clubs, to sports bars and exclusive events just about every place seems inviting. We started our night out by meeting friends at the famous Hard Rock Hotel in La Jolla, a suburb just north of San Diego known for affluence, beach living and first class lifestyles. The food was good but be careful because literally anything can get pricey fast in La Jolla. For local and affordable dining options in San Diego, CA, Best Restaurant Specials is the local resource to find great deals on sea-food Oceanside.

The party in Las Vegas, NV was about five hours away, so even though the Range Rover was a fun ride, we decided to go with something a little more fuel efficient. We went with the four door sedan version of the BMW 335xi which was a very good choice and much better on gas than the 10 miles per gallon we were getting in the Range Rover, although the Range would have been nice to have in a flashy place like Las Vegas. The city of Las Vegas is famous for its nightlife and is one of the most fascinating places to see once it gets dark. The Strip comes to life when the sun goes down and the display of light and sound can be seen from miles outside of the city limits. Where else do you find this many world renowned concerts and shows at the biggest venues on the planet. Strip clubs, bars that you can drink at until the sun comes up, and nightclubs that have kept the party going for decades change their hot nights and specials all the time. There are many guides, websites and directories to help you with planning your night out. With the amount of casinos, bars, strip-clubs, nightclubs, shows, and action we found that Best Vegas Nightlife sent us to the most comprehensive local directory and had virtual tours of almost everywhere with plenty of reviews to help us decide. You don’t want to gamble on your night out being one to remember. A few hours after skipping the four hour line at Pure and going straight to the V.I.P section, we headed to Spearmint Rhino, the world’s biggest exotic dance club. Let’s just say whatever may go down in Vegas, stays in Vegas…so make sure to stay in the game with all the hottest casinos, hotels, and dining in the City of Sin if you decide to go there. Our next feature will be covering New York City, NY so please stay tuned for more insider information to use on your next vacation.
