Elvira's Paradise is situated only 10klms from Katherine, the true centre of the Northern Territory. It is on the crossroads from the west east/south and north. If you are travelling to Darwin no matter where you are in Australia you have to drive through Katherine. Accommodation in Katherine is at a premium, during the tourist season it is virtually impossible to get a room or caravan site unless you book in advance or get lucky early in the day.
Elvira's Paradise will be the only flood proof Caravan Park in close proximity to Katherine, it is being designed to give the guests plenty of space and room to move, the sites aren't placed side by side like sardines in a can.

The manager of one of these mines has said that they will need to accommodate 50 of their workers.
Elvira's Paradise will have an Asian resort theme with Bali Style Huts and Décor throughout the Park, complimenting the natural looking Swimming pool set back against a rocky outcrop, with a gazebo up on the hill overlooking the pool. The camping area, set beside the pool also will have gazebos for the comfort of campers.
