Meditation is a form of mind and body control and connection that scientists have looked at as well as forming part of many religions. The process of meditation involves a hyper focus is on something outside, an image, a statue or even sounds can be outside stimuli for meditation. The idea is that a woman focuses on controlling his breathing and this form of self-hypnosis to help control the pain of childbirth.

Other types of meditation include yoga. Yoga incorporates controlled breathing and reduced concentrate the mind which leads to a higher level of relaxation and control.

Using meditation, many find they are more relaxed, they have health benefits including lowered blood pressure and they have reduced stress in their lives. The different types of meditation have all the common factor to involve a state induced by the controlled breathing and relaxation while has side benefits to improve an individual as well as emotional well-being.
