The Honda Element is a compact crossover SUV manufactured by Honda. It made its debut as a small crossover sports utility vehicle in 2003. This vehicle shares a number of its characteristics with the CR-V although its dimensions are smaller.

The 2007 Element version received a mild upgrade, which included 10 hp increases to 166 hp. In mid June 2007 Honda started selling the 2008 Element.

The 2008 Element is a 4 door, 4 passenger sport-utility, available in 10 trims, ranging from the LX 2WD 5-Spd MT to the SC 2WD 5-Spd AT.

A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard." Handling characteristics of the Element are generally regarded as quite good.

The Honda Element's shape proudly proclaims its utility. It's a basic two-box design, with a small box for the engine and a much larger box for four passengers and their stuff or two passengers and a lot more stuff.
