Your images need to be no larger than 1MB file size, please only use JPEG or GIF format. resizing your images It's easy to resize images and lots of free software can be found to help you. adflyer recommends using a download programme called Picasa. Picasa is free software download from Google that helps you Locate and organise all the photos on your computer and edit, resize and add effects to your photos with a few simple clicks. it’s fast, easy and free.
How can I add or change pictures on my advert?
You are allowed to add one picture with any free ad placed on adflyer. If you have decided to upgrade, you can choose to add up to five photos with your advert. All photos can be added, removed or changed from your adflyer account. Next to the advert in question click on "edit advert" and follow the instructions on the page. You must login to do this.
How do I change the price or description of my advert?
You can change the price or description of your advert from your adflyer account. Next to the advert in question click on "edit advert" and follow the instructions on the page. You must login to do this I’ve sold my item, what now?
Once you have sold your item simply log in to your adflyer account, find the sold item in "your adverts" and click the button to "mark as sold". All sold adverts will be removed by adflyer after a short period. How can I update my personal details?
You can update any of your personal details, including your email address and phone number, from the My Details page (found in your adflyer account). Any changes made here take immediate effect but email address changes will require confirmation from the original email address. You must login to do this.
I’ve forgotten my username/password, what should I do?
If you've forgotten your username or password we can send them to you via email. Enter the email address you used when you signed up into the username/password reminder page. The details will be sent to this address. If you no longer have access to the email address you signed up with, please create a new adflyer account with your current email address.
Why hasn't my username/password reminder arrived?
If you've asked to be reminded of your username/password but the email hasn't arrived, it's likely that the email may have been stopped by your mail filter. As the reminder email is automatically generated, some email software may mistake it for junk mail and move it to your Junk folder. If you have a Junk folder, check for the username/password reminder there. If you are still experiencing problems please contact us.
How do potential buyers contact me?
There are two ways that buyers can contact you. The first is by email. Adflyer does not give out your email address, but a buyer can use the site to send an email to you. If you have chosen to provide your phone number the second way a buyer can contact you is by telephone. You can give the potential buyer the option to only contact you via email or via telephone or both.
I have heard that scammers are around?
Adflyer have dedicated members of the team whose role is to process all adverts and emails going through the site. We are confident that you will never experience scammers while using adflyer. For information on potential scams and how to avoid them, please read our scam info page.
