2. Internet Connection You require an internet access to be able to do or carry out any business or transaction of any sort online.

Having an internet access or connection is a pre-requisite to earning money using the internet.

This connection affords you the opportunity to gain access to and communicate with the global community called the internet or the world-wide-web (www) as your computer system becomes linked (or networked) to all the other computers and servers online.

This can be achieved by contacting any ISP- Internet Service Provider near to you in your locality/community/municipality.

A small connection or registration fee is charged though.

3. E-mail Account For any individual aspiring to earn money online, you need to register or open an e-mail account (electronic mail).

This way, it becomes easy and convenient to contact you whenever necessary. Information, updates and notices can be sent or forwarded to you.

In addition, your e-mail account readily becomes a ticket or pass by which you can be identified online for any business prospect you desire to venture into or express interest in.

Your e-mail address will be required of you and even used for many registration purposes online whenever the need arises.

4. A Domiciliary account You will need to open a domiciliary account with any bank or financial institution.

With this account registered and opened, any money earned or proceeds from your online business transactions will be deposited directly or through a check issued in your name payable into this domiciliary account.

A domiciliary account is an account which allows or enables you to be paid in any foreign currency you choose.

5. A Website You need to create a website of your own. This is another platform by which you make your presence known and impact felt on the internet.

However, having a website of your own is optional depending on the type of product or business you want to be engaged in to earn money using the internet.

There are several web hosting companies that will gladly allow you to open/create a website of your own for free. An example is registering and opening/creating a Blog.
