The demands of the current fashion trends has led to 42 million women having ingrown pubic hairs. Improper shaving techniques is the main cause of an ingrown pubic hair. The mixed-bag of information on pubic hair shaving has helped cause the problem. You need to fix your ingrown pubic hair before it becomes an infected ingrown pubic hair.

An ingrown pubic hair is caused by the hair being cut too short... or it breaks off below the skin. The hair then grows at an angle back into the side of the hair follicle... becoming an ingrown pubic hair.

The following are the best Quick Fixes;

  1. Stop Shaving- Further irritation of the skin will just make the problem worse and more painful.

  2. Don't Wax or Use a Depilatory- Again, this will cause further irritation and may lead to an infected ingrown pubic hair.

  3. Tweezing- Use a pair of pointed tweezers, with good grips, to lift the hair out of the hair follicle. Use hydrogen peroxide to sanitize the tweezers before lifting the hair out of the hair follicle. Then dab the area with the hydrogen peroxide to prevent infection.

  4. Exfoliate- Gently exfoliate the area with a loofah or synthetic sponge. This will loosen or remove the dead skin trapping the ingrown pubic hair.

  5. Take a Sauna Bath- Visit the gym and take a sauna. Let the steam open your pores and release the trapped hair. Gently exfoliate.

  6. Use Aloe Vera- Dab the ingrown pubic hair with Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera has long been known for its antiseptic and healing properties.

  7. Wear Loose Clothing- Loose underwear and pants will lessen the chaffing effect and irritation. It will also help prevent new ingrown pubic hairs.
