Who is it that can benefit most from what you have to offer? Is your company targeted to a certain group, like men or women? As a home based business owner you have to know your target audience so that you can be successful.

What needs can your products and company solve? Someone may be looking to earn some extra income and you can help them that way. Someone else may need a good hand cream and none of the rest work for them. You could help them with that if that is the product you carry. Every need has a solution and the more you are able to solve the more success you will have.

Who can afford your products? Hopefully everybody. The main reason people don’t buy a product that they like is if they think the price is too high. Compare your prices to your competition and see who has cheaper prices. If it is not you, consider making some price changes. Today with the price of gas and other things on peoples mind the cheaper your products are the more return business you may see.

Where can your target people be found? Most anywhere. All you have to do is find them. Advertising is the way to find them. Pass out flyers, take out an ad in the paper, get the phone book and cold call, or call everyone you know. It may take a bit of work but you will profit in the long run.

When is the best time for your target audience to buy? There is no time like the present. Right now is the time to buy. Make yourself accessible to them. Make sure your contact information is on everything you hand out so that they know how to get back in touch with you. Always be prepared for a sale. Keep the forms that you will need to make a sale in your car, or wherever you can get your hands on them at a moments notice.

Sit down and make a list of all the people that you know that could benefit from your offer. Go through your high school yearbook, and your address book. This is called your contact list. Make it a point everyday to call five people on that list along with all the other advertising you will be doing. Share what you have and the more you do the better your business will be. Soon you may be bragging about having the most successful home based business of all of them around.
