Security is among fundamental requirements for every human being. Personal, financial and assets security is always among first priority of everyone in society. There are Government Security Agencies in place to ensure all types of security to the society. However, along with increased population ratio between "number of employees in police services and other secondary government security services" and common public has decreased. Now, the police alone are not enough to provide round the clock security to society and their belongings. It is one of the major problem concerns for people.

To solve the problem of security, Private Security Agencies came into existence. They are recruiting people from society to serve the security needs of individual, organization of society. The basic criteria for selection of candidates as security personnel are Physical Fitness, Prompt Mind, and ability to take quick actions in diverse conditions.

However, these basic selection criteria are not enough for new recruits. They need proper security training just like the training of Police or Army involving all arms and ammunition training, IQ test, and Physical ability test. This is very important in order to ensure their usability for expected services by them. All security services provider agencies try to provide best training facilities to their security guards and security officers in order to make them capable of dealing any kind of adverse situation.

These days, security agencies prefer recruiting retired army personnel as security guards, and veteran Army officers as their commanding officers. It is cost effective as well as more productive, at the same time its mutual benefit for Army veterans as well as security agencies. Army veterans get a chance of earning again with pride by this new phenomenon of employment, whereas security companies get resources exactly perfect for their kind of job. Security agencies do not have to arrange any training sessions for retired army personnel. Because they are already trained to deal with all kinds of security threats both internal and external.

The training for security personnel is mandatory because, no one knows what kind of threat they have to face while on duty.
