Many people do not realise they can apply for a Warm Front Grant. To qualify, you must be a home owner or rent your home from a private landlord. You can apply for a Warm Front Central Heating Grant if: You are over 60 and in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:

Income Support Council Tax Benefit Housing Benefit

Job Seekers Allowance (income-based) Pension Credit You have a child under the age of 16 or are pregnant (you will need to show your maternity certificate MAT-B1 to qualify) and be in receipt of one or more of the following benefits: Income Support Council Tax Benefit Housing Benefit

Job Seekers Allowance (income-based) Pension Credit You receive one or more of the following benefits: Working Tax Credit (with an income of less than £15,460, which must include a disability premium)

Disability Living Allowance

Child Tax Credit (with an income of less than £15,460)

Housing Benefit (which must include a disability premium)

Income Benefit (which must include a disability premium)

Council Tax Benefit (which must include a disability premium)

War Disablement Pension (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)

Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)

The Warm Front Grants scheme was launched by the Government in 2000 to provide Government heating grants. Gavin Ward Limited is an appointed installer under the Warm Front heating grants scheme. All fitters are CORGI registered. All Electricians are fully qualified.

My wife and I are pensioners. are combined income is £14,000 per ann. We need to replace our central heating system because it is broken and old.The approximate cost will be £2,500.Are we entitled to any grants towards this item please. Mr. J. M. Simpson
