Basically, affiliate marketing tends to rely a lot on cookies especially for sales that are not handled immediately; it is quite easy for someone to steal these commissions away from you. There are a lot of programs which run on a computer without a person's knowledge which may be popping their cookie code in where yours actually belongs.

The causes of you losing your affiliate commissions might be another problem. If you sell any products that are typically bought by people who will also market online, it is easy for them to add their own affiliate code in and take the commission for themselves. You can get by this many times by cloaking your affiliate page so that the affiliate code in the URL is not available. Does this kind of cloaking get you in hot soup?

It does not hurt for you to cloak your webpages in this way. The reason why this is the case is because all you are really going is using encrypted HTML along with showing the page in the frame.
