Viagra is a prescription drug that a man must see a doctor for. It is prescribed for one primary reason that can occur for many reasons.

Viagra comes in a blue pill format and it is taken orally. There is not an injection for this drug and it does not come in liquid format. The primary purpose of this drug is to help a man who is having difficulty getting or maintaining an erection.

Viagra was initially designed to help problems with high blood pressure and to cure problems with angina. During the clinical trials people who were using the drug told the doctors about the side effects they were having with the blue pill. That side effect was a long lasting and strong erection. The drug did not help what it was originally designed for. However, because of the side effect of the drug, the scientists changed the focus of the pill from usage needs of high blood pressure and angina to men who had trouble getting an erection. It worked. Viagra was then approved by the Food and Drug Administration for this use on March 27, 1998. It is the first pill ever designed to treat erectile dysfunction.

A portion of the physiological process of an erection involves the parasympathetic nervous system to release nitric oxide inside the cavernosum of the penis. The nitric oxide binds causing increased levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate which then leads to a smoother muscle relaxation of the cushions of the helicine arteries. Then creating increased blood flow inside the penis, resulting in an erection. When a man suffers from erectile dysfunction, there is a problem with this erection process in the body. Viagra can help make this process happen.

When a person takes Viagra, it is recommended that they begin with 25mg. Viagra is also known as sildenafil. A person should take from 25mg to 100mg of Viagra but not to take more than one time a day. A person will notice the effects of the drug from 30 minutes up to 4 hours from taking the pill.

A doctor may prescribe a person to begin with 50mg and then up or lower the dosage depending on what is appropriate and works for you. These pills are not easy to cut in half because of the hard coating they have on them. One pill may be too much for you and you might have to consult your doctor for something that is right.

Viagra is a blue pill that is diamond shaped. It has the words ‘Pfizer’ engraved on one side of the pill and the letters VGR xx on the other. The xx will stand for the amount of milligrams the pills are which could be 25, 50, or 100. A doctor will determine which strength of pill is right for you. Each pill is approximately $10 a piece.

Viagra is a medication prescribed for men who suffer with a difficulty of maintaining or obtaining an erection. There are many things that can cause this to happen.

What problems do you mean? I thought that Extagen is used only as penis enlargement pill. I have increased my penis on one inch by using it. I never had problems with erection or something but it's interesting for me to know what problems this drug can solve.

These blue pills can reduce your ability to have good erections. I take only Extagen if I feel some problems.
