Why do we age? What causes aging? How can we slow down this process?

Scientists have been asking these questions for centuries.

Harman’s free-radical theory on aging is one of the most impressive and most credible in this field. According to this theory, a human being’s organism – from birth through to death – is constantly subjected to free radicals (molecules each possessing a free electron which try to connect themselves to other molecules to form pairs). This joining up of molecules is extremely negative, causing the destruction of healthy cells the effects of which are inevitably reflected on the skin of the face and the organism as a whole.

Moreover, under the influence of free radicals, collagen and elastin, substances which help to keep our skin healthy and give it a well cared for, smooth and supple appearance, wear out and "break". This process is especially visible on the face, where the folds of the skin and deep wrinkles bear witness to the long term influence of free radicals.

The question to ask therefore is: can this process be reversed? Can we slow down the appearance of wrinkles?

Supporters of Harman’s theory are convinced that the aging process is merely a programme which, just like any other programme, can be changed, using antioxidants, substances which prevent the action of free radicals.

The human organism alone is not capable of producing antioxidants but can absorb and use the forms found in our food. Now ask yourself if the foods you eat every day contain enough antioxidants to protect the skin on your face, especially as this is the last part of the body to receive the beneficial nutrients contained in food.

This is the reasoning behind the creation of the "Belle de France" range of beauty products which contain the most powerful antioxidant - FUCOIDAN!

FUCOIDAN-CF2 by KGC Networks

Fucoidan is an extract of brown seaweed. Adding a multi-preventive complex with Fucoidan CF-2, a result of double extraction, to the formula, guarantees the product’s maximum effectiveness not only on the surface but also within the deep layers of the skin.

As well as its antioxidant action, Fucoidan:

  • stimulates collagen synthesis,

  • simulates the activity of fibroblasts,

  • blocks elastase (an enzyme which breaks down elastin),

  • restores microcirculation.

Wrinkles are filled in, the skin appears firmer and more supple, regaining its vitality. Fucoidan restores the skin’s immune functions; red patches, desquamations, inflammation and allergic reactions disappear.

PRODUCTION by KGC Networks

The Laboratoires Robert Schwartz are based in Brittany (western France), on the Iroise sea, designated as one of UNESCO’s biosphere reserves.

With their vast experience in the exploitation of marine diversity the Laboratoires Robert Schwartz are renowned specialists in the processing of fresh seaweed within 24 hours of harvest, thereby ensuring it retains its maximum effectiveness.

Laboratoires Robert Schwartz are experts in adding marine active ingredients to liposomes. Enriching the "Belle de France" product range formula with liposomes helps the active ingredients penetrate the skin and enhances the regeneration of the epidermis.

TECHNOLOGIES by KGC Networks

Liquid crystal technology was used in the creation of the "Belle de France" cosmetics range. This technology is one of the most advanced in the world of cosmetics.

The technology enabled a stable formula of the cream to be created, whereby all the ingredients are isolated; they do not block each other and retain their bio-accessibility.

Liquid crystal technology provides maximum moisturizing of the skin thanks to the "bonding" of the water, preventing its evaporation on the skin’s surface.

The marine liposomes of the Laboratoires Robert Schwartz, when in contact with the epidermis, slowly release active ingredients which penetrate the skin. A surprising fact: the chemical constitution of the liposome wall resembles that of the hydro-lipid film of the skin surface, thereby enabling damaged skin to be repaired and providing excellent protection.

MAIN ACTIVE INGREDIENTS by KGC Networks

Sodium-free seawater:

Thanks to its similarity to blood plasma, sodium-free seawater has exceptional moisturizing and repairing properties.

Marine DNA:

Provides an anti oxidising defence and produces amino acids with protein synthesis.

Matrixyl:

A micropeptide known for its ability to replump wrinkles.

Alfa-hydroxyacids:

Regenerate and accelerate the renewal of the skin.

Shea butter:

Nourishes and repairs the skin.

Marine collagen and soy proteins:

Moisturize and restore the firmness and elasticity of the skin.

Provitamin ?:

Stimulates cell renewal and strengthens the capillary walls.

Vitamin ?:

Antioxidant properties, nourishes the skin and protects the cream from oxidation.

Note that in addition to the many properties of the "Belle de France" range, the improved formula of the "Lifting Mask" offers a simple approach to a variety of age-related cosmetic problems, in particular:

  • the premature aging of the skin – wrinkles, loss of elasticity and firmness;

  • rosacea – microcirculation problems;

  • sensitive skin – red blotches, desquamation and inflammation;

  • puffiness of the face - problems with lymphatic drainage and the elimination of toxins.

By combining gum acacia and marine polysaccharides, we have obtained a maximum lifting effect. Tests have shown that this combination, together with Aloe Vera (20%), moisturizes the skin and creates a sensation of comfort. This is very important, as it is only by hydrating the skin that we can really limit the biological process of aging.

Thanks to its unique ingredients, the use of leading-edge technology and its unrivalled effect, the "Belle de France" cosmetic range is highly placed in the field of luxury cosmetic products.
