I had never given the issue of my child health insurance a serious thought until I met a friend of mine who was working with a children's health insurance company. She tried to convince me to buy insurance for my child but I was a little hesitant. Honestly, at that time I had not known that my child health insurance was an issue that I needed to take seriously. I asked her why she though I need to get my child health insurance and she explained the reasons to me. She told me that no matter how hardworking I thought I was, it was very difficult and expensive for me to buy private children's health insurance for my child.

She came to me as a friend, she knew how much I loved my only daughter and she knew that I would always do anything for my girl. She couldn't believe my ignorance on the issue of my child health insurance. She couldn't imagine the faces I was making as she explained the whole thing to me. She had always thought I was at par with insurance issues. In fact, she was really shocked when I told her that I thought that since I already had bought life insurance that would just be enough. She told me that if I bought my child health insurance or any of the many children's health insurance, I would enjoy the benefits of having my child go for regular check ups or even visit a dentists for a tooth fill or get eye glasses for her should she need it later in life.

She told me that if I bought my child health insurance at the age she was in, it would be very cheap for me and anyway my daughter has no chronic illnesses. This reminds me, I thought that children's health insurance was for disabled children and those children who had chronic illnesses. I felt so stupid when I made the stupid confession to her. She really encouraged me to buy my child health insurance. She told me I would avoid the inconvenience I would normally get while I took my baby to a doctor. Usually I would pay for the visit, hospital stays, drugs and anything that I took my daughter through be it lab tests and such.

My experience with my friend has taught me a lot about children's health insurance. Finally, I filled the forms and now I have my child health insurance for my only daughter. I realized the truth in the words that if you love your child you will not hesitate to buy them health insurance. I never did so before I was enlightened. I felt like a black curtain had been opened before my eyes. Now my daughter and I enjoy the services of children's health insurance like anybody else. You too can enjoy these benefits. Believe me you will never regret even one single minute.
