Finding the perfect bra is a task that many women struggle with and once you find the perfect bra you want to buy the same one in as many colors as it comes in. But women shouldn't’t have to only have one style bra. Your choices in what bra you wear should be as diverse as your wardrobe. Here are a few tips on how to find a perfect fit bra for you.

A bra should have the following qualities; contain, support, lift, and shape your bust, enhancing your wardrobe. Ideally, a woman should have seven kinds of different styles for all her outfits such as t-shirts, blouses, sleeveless shirts, and complicated neck lines or evening wear.

To determine your bra size, use a measuring tape and wrap it around your rib cage to get your band size. Then, wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust making sure that it lies flat against your body. Subtract the bust size from the band size to determine your cup size.

A good fit must feel comfortable in every aspect. The breast tissue should be completely within the cups and there is no spilling of the breast tissue. The center bridge between the cups should lie flat on the chest as well as the wires, making sure they don’t touch the breast tissue. And in a side view your bra should fall in the middle of your shoulder and elbow.

If you have pain in your neck or shoulders look for a bra that gives support and evenly distributes weight. Try any of the Sassybax bras that do all of the above as well as eliminates bra lines and bra bulge to smooth out a woman’s silhouette.

Keep in mind that your bra size will change if you gain or lose five pounds or more, you start or stop an exercise program, get pregnant or just gave birth, are going through menopause, or haven’t been measured in more than a year. Your bra needs change along with your body.

Keep in mind that every bra is sized differently depending on the brand. Unfortunately, bra sizes aren’t universal. Move up a cup if breast bulge occurs or move down a cup size if the cup material wrinkles. You know the bra you are wearing isn’t for you if spillage occurs, the back rides up, or your breasts bounce.

Do not wear a smaller bra to try and achieve cleavage. Instead, try a push up bra like the iBra by Wacoal that is designed to naturally enhance a woman’s cleavage.

Once you know your correct bra size, you can begin to choose from many different styles and colors of bras such as a strapless bra, convertible bra, halter bra, push-up bra, a demi, full coverage, one with underwire, and a minimizer to compliment your every wardrobe. Bras are also available with hooks or front closure snaps. This is based on your preference and the type of clothing you are going to wear.

To care for your bra, wash it by hand and avoid using the dryer, the heat and the tumble will wear down the elastic. Also, avoid wearing it too often; this will also wear it down. That’s why it is recommended to have at least 7 different styles. This will increase the life of your bra.

A woman’s bra is one of the most important articles of clothing she owns. A great fitting bra will flatter a woman’s figure and natural curves as well as minimize back and shoulder pain. Go for a bra fitting at least once a year, replace your bra every six months, and invest in a good quality bra, such as Wacoal. These few tips should help you be on your way to finding the perfect bra for you.
