1. See your Doctor and get your vaccinations done relevant for the Countries that you are visiting.

The doctor will not give you injections if you turn up just a few days before the Holiday Flight. This is because many vaccines have an incubation period and will not benefit you abroad, if the jabs are taken too late.

And do not be afraid of the needle, look on it as a challenge !

2. If you are flying to a Mosquito-ridden country, remember that the Mighty Mosquito is the animal that is the Biggest Killer of Humans on this Planet.

Very strong evasive action is therefore strictly required, so that you and your Children not only survive the Holiday Trip, but with perfect health, come home without a Single Bite and live to tell the tale.

For more detailed info on how to avoid Mosquito Bites completely while on Holiday, just do the following GOOGLE SEARCH: how to avoid Mosquito Bites completely.

3. Do not drink anything but Bottled Water from a trustworthy source and make sure you do not run dry.

The local free drinking water very often carries Waterborne bacteria and viruses and kills more people worldwide than do Mosquitoes.

4. Local Food is quite often contaminated with raw sewage, due to pure ignorance and really apalling bad hygiene by the Food preparers.

So be really particular about the restaurants that you eat in. If the place is full and looks really busy, it has A/C, and there are no flies, that's usually the hallmark of a good clean establishment.

5. When you go out sightseeing or elsewhere, try to be aware of your surroundings at all times if possible.

Being in a foreign land, it's natural for you to lull yourself into a false sense of security, thinking you are safer than at home.

However sadly the opposite is actually true.

Firstly, you know less about dangerous locations in the distant country that you are visiting than the locals do. Secondly being a tourist you are perceived by local robbers as being loaded with"Goodies" (and it is of course likely to be true) so they are more likely to target you than the natives.

6. When you go out, ensure that you have just slightly above sufficient cash in your possession, than your daily requirement and not too much more. If you are seen with large amounts of cash by thieves, you know exactly what will happen next.

7. For large transactions, try to use credit cards whenever you can. And of course carrying cards, has additional useful attributes besides safety and security. Paying for unforeseen purchases on the day for example.

8. Store your passport/s in an ultra safe location if at all possible. Preferably not in your hotel room, since numerous people will have access to your room and luggage, while you are out sightseeing.

9. Look both left and right TWICE, when you cross the road, as there is no other way of telling from which direction vehicles are going to come from in many countries.

10. Going on holiday is a very stressful experience, because people build up their expectations far too high, and as you know dreams never fit reality.

You will probably need another holiday, just to recover from this one.

Enjoy your Holiday, and don't row with your fellow Holiday-Makers.
