When you begin to build a MLM business, you have chosen to agree to some company's contract. Some people don't realize that, but it is true 100% of the time. You may not have signed on the dotted line, but you checked a box saying you read and agree to the Policies & Procedures. That step must be done in order to begin marketing any MLM product.

So what I would ask you is ... did you actually read the Policies and Procedures? (Most people don't.) That is the legally enforceable agreement between you and the network marketing company. Do you have a clue what you have agreed to? It might take you by surprise. Actually, you could be absolutely shocked. It's fairly standard for a company to insert one or more clauses making it clear that you - the rep - may be terminated at any time for any reason with 30 days' notice. You'll find companies use this wording on a regular basis. They let it pass until you have good money coming in, and then they terminate you. Who do you think gets your stream of income?

Remember, this contract was written by company lawyers. Your company probably will not terminate you to steal your check unless they get themselves in financial trouble. But it happens. If your plan is to build a future for yourself and your family and your team, then you definitely want a contract that can't kick the legs out from under you.

You'll never have a strong stable MLM income unless your new guys go on autoship. Autoship means they get their product every month, charged to their credit card. Autoship means that you have customers you can count on ordering each month, which means you start each month with a certain income base, and it increases from there. If you explain the autoship to your customers, they will sign up for it, because they are also serious about building an income they can depend on. You can tell them that there are good reasons for autoship. These reasons will vary from program to program, but here are 4 possibilities.

First, use those products you get as samples with your prospects. And that makes the autoship expense is 100% tax deductible, because it is a business expense. Of course, keep records when you give away those samples. Second, the company gives a free product each month to anyone with a certain amount of autoship. Third, being on autoship qualifies you to receive the company car bonus. And Forth, some companies offer a special bulk purchase for those on autoship. On autoship, you get X amount of free product in that Super Pack. Use that bonus yourself, or use it again as samples with your prospects. You'll find good reasons for autoship with any company. Learn your comp plan so you understand your company's autoship reasons, and share them with your prospects.

You can read a lot of these helpful MLM ideas in Michael Dlouhy's free ebook, "Success in 10 Steps." The reason this book has become a network marketing classic is, it addresses the frustrations we've all had in this business. Almost everybody thinks at some point, "MLM looks so easy. How can it turn out to be so tough?" Since this ebook gives you a simple, workable a step-by-step success plan, it's very popular with your target market. Which makes it the perfect tool as a lead generator. "Success In 10 Steps" is free, and Dlouhy sells a system for just $20 a month where you can use the book to build your own targeted lead database. It may turn out to be a system you like, too.
