2) Clean the house. This may not be as simple as it sounds, depending on the current status of the house. First, tidy the place by removing clutter. This may include stacks of newspapers and magazines, mail, and shoes. Start with the simple things and work to the larger projects. Dust and sweep the entire house and keep the appearance simple. This will allow prospects to visualize more easily how it will look for them.
