Oral Chelation Therapy is just like the normal Chelation Therapy. The difference is just that in oral chelation therapy, the person intakes the chelating agent through his mouth. The other way is to intake the chelating agent through an injection which directly goes into the blood vessels. This way is more difficult than the oral chelation as some people might be afraid of the needle of the injection. In oral chelation therapy, the person just has to swallow the chelating agent and drink some water or any other fluid after it.

Chelation therapy is done to dissolve the toxic metals present inside our bodies. These toxic metals are present in the environment around us as a result of the by products of industries which pollute the atmosphere around us. The chelating agent that is taken by the person dissolves the harmful chemicals and metals present in our blood to form a more stable compound which does not react further with any of the chemicals and hence our body becomes safe as its reactivity becomes zero. These unwanted compounds are then passed out or discharged through the channel through which all the other waste products are passed.

EDTA is used as the most common chelating agent and that is why it is the most popular one also. The oral chelating agents clean the blood that is present in the veins and the arteries. This therapy helps the body in many ways. It normalizes the blood pressure of the blood flowing in our veins and arteries. It also increases the blood circulation and heart pumping rate. It also provides the various parts of the body with essential nutrients and adequate amount of oxygen which is required to carry out the processes required in our daily life. It also keeps the cholesterol level of the body to an appropriate level which in turn keeps the body free from fats and hence prevents heart failures.

EDTA is used as the most commonly used oral chelating agent because EDTA has an unusual ability to attract heavier particles or heavier molecules present in chemical compounds. It attaches itself to the heavier particles flowing in the blood in the blood vessels and forms a more stable complex compound. But EDTA falls under the category of amino acids, so the body discharges the complex compound with the other waste products in the form of excreta. The discharging of the amino acids along with the other wastes from the body is done by the kidney. It filters the body fluids and separates the wastes from the normal body fluids. Then this waste is discharged as excretion.

Cardiorestore, is one of the leading website for Chelation . It has oral chelation program .
