Radiance isn't evinced off of just excellent people anymore, it' also shone directly from the source and reason to why we as humans are still able to live as well as thrive here on earth. The source and reason for our continued existence is none other than, the Sun. At the center of our solar system, it provides us with both light and heat. It glows a living hue and as such supports all life on this planet we call home. And in truth, the only reason we're still living with somewhat maintained climate zones and semi-normal weather patterns is thanks to the sun's rays spurring processes of photosynthesis.
Without it we would not survive and the world would be a cold, dead, desolate place completely incapable to sustain any forms of life. But, life is happening and, even better, flourishing on Earth - all thanks to Mr. Sol. And not only is life prospering, but it's also improving, especially on levels of embracing the warmth the sun provides us each day.
Energy From The Sun – A Bright Idea
Taking into account how pivotal the sun is to our existence, we took some keen notice and considered utilizing it's power to better the earth even further. Simply through taking to mind how the sun's rays maintain the earth we intelligibly envisioned using these same beams of light to fuel ourselves and our actions through something known as, oddly enough, Solar Energy.
And the adoption of harnessing the sun's natural power as well as administering it (hopefully with permanent replacement in mind) toward current exhaustive energy methods is short of brilliant. If anything, it's blindingly wise and well over due.
Renewable Energy Directly From a Time-Tested Source
What a concept, one that's been right above us this entire time - taking a natural renewable resource such as the sun and using it to power worldwide human interactions and lifestyles. It just makes too much sense, seems too easy. Too convenient, perhaps? But, it really isn't – solar energy is simply smart.
Not only is the sun renewable energy, but it's also undeniably reliable energy. The sun has withstood the test of time as it is still shining and providing us with warmth and life after 4.57 billion years of doing so beforehand. Such an age and glaring presence in our skies would ensure anyone that solar energy, in and of itself, isn't an unrealistic possibility. Rather it is as certain in it's powering ability as it is with it's position in the daytime sky.
Soaking Up Some Sun & Recharging Lives
It's a simple turn of events. Solar energy is a direct utilization of the radiant energy from the Sun, specifically through the absorption of solar radiation (or insolation). Basically, we're just soaking up some sun, recharging, if you will. Half of what the sun beams at us is absorbed naturally through oceans, land masses and clouds. Now, to capture this energy further all that's needed are solar plates, dishes, reflectors and so on. This technology can be large scale based (for agriculture and horticulture actions) or small scale (for homes, cars and appliances) as well.
And, being your little self in this huge world you're saying "Well, what can I use solar energy for?" Actually, many things, things both large and tiny. And on the tiny note - even if you feel the small scale solar energy options are a waste of time, effort or money you should really think differently because they're not.
