"When cleaning your home, you must always make sure that you have "wiped," "dusted," and "washed" each and every part of it. What do I mean by this? By the time we choose to clean our homes by ourselves and refuse to avail the services of janitorial cleaning services (probably to save some money), we are obliged to remember that tables, desks, and chairs aren’t the only articles and factors, which make up the wholeness of our homes. You, as a responsible and full-pledged homemaker, must take note of your homes’ windows, upholsteries and most especially, its carpet like how commercial cleaning janitorial services prioritize their maintenance.

So why look "down" and give enough attention to your carpet when it’s cleaning time? Well, habitual carpet cleaning is an important task for you to prioritize since it is a part of your floor. Your floor can undeniably be considered as the busiest part of your home. Almost every minute, you walk in it back and forth, bringing different kinds of bacteria with you. Do not take this fact for granted; take note that there can be instances when you drop something important to your carpet (like for example food) and you picked it up again. Or maybe, you have little children in your family who always find the floor a very attractive place to play to.

We can actually expose our hands and our children to the germs and bacteria that might be in that carpet if we take its cleaning for granted. This is what cleaning and janitorial services always remind their clients.

Do not worry. Making sure that your carpet is dirt-free isn’t a very painful task to accomplish. In this article, I will try to list down simple guide and reminders on how you can properly maintain the cleanliness of your carpet. Get your pens and papers ready because these reminders will surely change the way you clean your home.

1) The first step: Find out what material your carpet is made of. Is your carpet made of wool, plant fibers, silk or maybe synthetics? This is important because each type is cleaned differently with different detergents and products. After finding out the type, try to ask the advice of professional carpet cleaners, such as Alberta carpet cleaning and cleaning in Alberta or the shop where you bought that carpet, about how to find the right detergent to use for it 2) A reminder: Your carpet needs regular cleaning. You must be sure that you maintain a good schedule of carpet care. Carpets absorb germs and bacteria that are major causes of different sickness and infections. You don’t want those germs harming your family right? 3) Do regular vacuuming. Regular vacuuming can somehow lessen the dirt and bacteria that might be thriving in your carpet. Also, remember that you should regularly change your vacuum bags and filters so that its possible clogging would be eliminated. Do this at least once a week! 4) An easy way to get rid of basic carpet stains: When the carpet stains came from food or beverage residues, be sure to wipe it out with some hot water. After this, apply detergent solutions, which are all readily available in the market, to remove all the remaining stains and smell.

Now that’s easy. Right?"
