It is possible to have a wholesome, complete, fulfilling life, filled with prosperity in your finances, health, mind and relationships. God has indeed given us all things requisite for life and godliness as stated in 2 Peter 1:3. But how come many Christians fail to live the glorious life God has planned out for us?

If you study the bible carefully, you would see that He has given us so much that it's a wonder why we fall short of living the good life. He has given us Himself, His Son Jesus Christ, the name and authority of Jesus, His word that made all things, the blood of Jesus, the Holy Spirit Who is the power of the Godhead, and the angels who are sent to serve and assist us (Hebrews 1:14).

I believe the answer is unbelief. Be it unbelief that comes from ignorance of the word, or unbelief that stems from different circumstances we've faced, stories we've heard, doctrines we've been born into or just plain lies and fears that the devil uses. Sometimes the devil just steals the word from our hearts and we forget that we've been working on something (Mark 4:1-20).

The devil's attack on us has been to steal, kill and destroy all God has for us. He has been using the same deception he used on Eve in the Garden of Eden, which was: God will not do what He said. Eve told him what God had said but the devil said no, you will not surely die. He totally contradicted God, saying she will not die, directly implying that God won't do what He said. Since then, he has been sowing seeds of doubt, fear and unbelief in the hearts of men, causing man to doubt God who is truth, and believe him, who is the father of all lies. We need to stop believing the liar and believe the One who has not, the ability to lie.

Once our eyes and minds are open to this truth, we will begin to read the Bible in a different light. We would begin to take God's word as it is. We would begin to rest in the truth that God said it and He will do it (Numbers 23:19 (Amplified) "God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man that he should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall he not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?")

We would begin to stand on every promise with confidence and rest being fully persuaded and assured that God will perform His word (2 Corinthians 1:20 (Amplified) "For as many as are the promises of God, they find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God."

Hebrews 6:18 (NIV) "God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged.")

Jesus died to give us the complete package (freedom from sin and its hold, eternal life, grace, righteousness, authority, health, healing, freedom, peace, joy, love, victory, protection, security, confidence, prosperity, wholeness, success, newness of life, abundant life and more). Go on and enjoy your full package as you stand by faith on God's word till you see with your eyes its manifestation.

Matthew 8:13 (Amplified) "Then to the centurion Jesus said, Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed. And the servant boy was restored to health at that very moment."
