Do you know why you are in debt, and how you can get out of debt?

There are many financial "guru’s" that can give you various "programs" for getting out of debt.

One bit of advice I hear all the time is "save 10% of what you make before paying anyone". Let’s say you make $2,000 a month and your debts are $1900 per month – how are you going to save 10%?

When it comes down to the basics, the ONLY way to save money is to make more than you can spend! Sure you can try to cut back in this expense or that expense. But will you really save that much? Also is that really the way you want to live your life?

The first fact you must face is that you will rarely get rich working for someone else. When you go to work look around at your co-workers, do you see any rich people? Poor people trade their time for money.

What would you do if you got fired from your job today?

If you really want to be rich you must be the "Boss". You need to establish your own business. "The No. 1 thing people can do to increase their wealth is to start a part-time business." Robert Kiyosaki

One of the most economical ways to start your own business is with a home-based business. A Network Marketing or Direct Sales business is an excellent home business. Low cost to set up and low monthly overhead. Usually no employees you have to pay, no stock to warehouse, etc. You can start part-time or full-time, work the hours you want. You are in control!

I would like to mention as a side note: while you are building your home business there is one action you can take so that you can reduce the amount of money you owe on credit cards, auto loans, etc. Take the debt that you owe the lowest amount on and every month pay a little extra on that debt. Once this debt has been paid-off, take the money that you have been paying on that debt and add it to the payments on the next lowest debt.

You are not spending any more than you have been each month, but now you are making a larger payment, thereby paying each successive debt off sooner. Eventually you will be debt free and then with the income of your home business you can really start enjoying life to the fullest!
