Good equipment is very important for succeeding in any game and there is special equipment for every situation in games. So one should use highest quality of gear as the surfer depends on it the most, so make smart gear choice to perform well in the sport.

There are various kiteboarding equipments but the first and foremost equipment of kiteboarding is the kite. The trainer kite is a two-line designed, small and less powerful kite that is quite easy to use by any novice. The trainer kite helps the learner in learning the steering reflexes by feeling the wind. The trainer kites can be set up quickly and it’s very simple to use by any amateur. The trainer kites have a ram-air design which prevents any damage to the pilot in case of a crash. The fundamental trainer kite flying procedures are explained to the learners in a standard kite boarding course. Before giving normal kite surfing kites, the student also learn to handle large kite boarding kites. The trainer kites is not a toy kite, so it should be used under the supervision of an instructor.

After the trainer kites, now is the time to enjoy the sport with kite surfing kites. These kites have inflatable framework so as to hold some air that helps in maintaining the arched shape of the kite and also keep the kites afloat. These kites have four to five-line control system and one can change the power of the kite whenever the wind strength changes while flying. There are two popular styles of kites that include c-kite and flat kite. The flat kite needs some more skill for flying but gives a wide wind range to the pilot whereas c-kite can be used for practicing basic flying techniques in steady wind. There are also hybrid kites that have characteristics of both c and flat shaped kites.

KITEBOARDS

The kiteboards provide base and support to the pilot while enjoying the game. There are two different types of board that include twin-tip and directional board. A twin tip board can go in both directions like wakeboard and snowboard and is very much helpful to the beginners for getting success early on. The directional boards enhance the wind performance but its difficult for the beginner as it requires the rider to keep changing his foot placement each time he turn around.
