Relationships will fail for a variety of reasons. There is no one single reason that can be attributed to failing relationships that will apply to all couples. Just as there is not one single explanation as to why relationships fail there is not one single answer or solution to help a broken relationship. Speaking in general terms this article discusses some things you may want to consider if you are in a failing relationship.

If you have been involved in relationships in the past that have ended for reasons you may not be entirely clear on and you now find yourself in another relationship that you hope will last think about this:

  1. Are you being yourself in this relationship or are you trying to be who you think the other person wants you to be? If you are not being yourself your relationship is doomed. You can't keep this image up forever and people's true colors will eventually show. When they do you will be caught in a lie and now you have trust issues to deal with.

  2. If you are being yourself but suspect that you may possess some qualities that forced your previous relationships to end then become an improved version of yourself. Focus on any areas of yourself that you feel need improving and take the steps to improve them. Your not trying to be someone you aren't; you're just trying to be the best YOU that you can be.

  3. Take an interest in what your partner is interested in. If he's a sports fanatic this doesn't mean that you have to watch every game on every channel all day long. Watch the sports highlights and get the scores. Focus on one or two players from his favorite teams and learn their stats. If she's into scrapbooking help her organize some pictures that you would like to see in a scrapbook. In this way you will both realize that you are taking an interest in each others likings and it will give the two of you something to share.

  4. Invest time in learning who your partner is. This means pay attention to the small, less obvious details about the person. This will make a person feel special and they will realize that you care enough to learn more about them and that you listen to them.

  5. Be consistent in your actions. Do what you say you will do and be honest about it. This will help build trust between you and your partner.

Are you looking for a way to save your relationship or to revive one that has fallen apart? Discover a system that is designed to do just that in ways that you would likely never think of.
