There are about 24 million children who are diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and now there are many adults being diagnosed also. Most of them if not all are on some form of medication like Ritalin. There are other ways to get relief other than medication.

There are many cases where medication has even made things worse. That is what this is about an alternative for you and your child who do not like the effects medication.

I am pretty passionate about helping people add/adhd. I have heard many instances where parents were not happy with the medication and even said it was making the situation even worse. I feel for families in this situation not knowing what else to do or where else to go.

I sincerely think that you would rather not have your children on medication at all for add/adhd if it could be avoided. And you know what, it can be avoided in many cases.

I have found out in my natural health studies which I hold a Master's degree in, that medication should be the last resort not the first. Unfortunately big drug companies have won that information battle so far.

There are many people out there and maybe youself that would rather not give their children medication or in the case of adult ADD/ADHD the same is true. You probably would rather not give your child medication at all if you knew of another way for your child to stay healthy. And now with the onset of adult ADD, adults probably would not want to take medication either.

There is another way to handle the situation although many people and including yourself may be a little hesitant to try due to the medical community's grip on the ADD/ADHD industry. It is a shame but this condition is a money making industry, and big drug companies are making billions in which they are not about to give that up.

There is a foundation to good health that most people have never heard of before, mainly because there is not a lot of money in the medical field for staying healthy. Basically there is a whole industry centered around ADD/ADHD and billions of dollars to be made with the medication. Do you want your children medicated or healthy?

With that being said the question arises what is the key foundation to good health? It is actually pretty simple it is "alkalizing the body." When the body is at the proper ph level it is brought to a natural state of balance which leads to a optimal healthy condition.

In the case of ADD/AADHD the child's body is too acidic. Once the child's body is alkalized he or she calms down and is able to function better mentally which leads to becoming a happier and healthier child or adult.

So the next question is how do you alkalize the body for better health?

If you are not satisfied with the medication your child is on this may be an alternative for you.
