Today the Internet market is just over crowded with business opportunities and get rich quick schemes. Everybody wants to make money.

Where there is money there is also evil. The Internet boom has opened up for many scams and craps. New people flocking to the net are mostly undecided, confused, information overloaded, lack proper and correct information, over cautious, and also prone to be scammed.

Many are claiming to be self made 'GURUS' earning thousands of dollars, showing you some morphed photographs of their dream life style or some sneaky fake proof of their false income. So that you think it really happens.

Some of these so called 'GURUS' many a times confuses you by calling other invisible individuals as 'GURUS' and blame them so to get your attention and trust to them. All these are Internet marketing business selling tactics to scam you.

These people invest a lot on the writing the sales letter. These Internet marketing business sales letters are made in such way that everyone new to the on-line business and Internet marketing when reads first, believe them to be the best opportunity or that is the secret they wanted to know. These unscrupulous people exactly want to en-cash people like you and me and most these are scams. Average marketer become the meat of their hamburgers.

A disturbing element which has surfaced recently in on-line Internet marketing is about formation of a 'cartel' of few people who already made substantial money on-line since several years. And each of these so called 'GURUS' recommends others product. Your name and email is getting traded in the market once you 'opt in' to get some free information or stuff.

Every now or then you hear about a new 'secret' formula emerging and you can make tons of money on-line sitting at your home comfort leaving your present job.

Make no mistake, that these 'GURUS' will ever share with you what actually they are doing to earn money from their Internet marketing business but only a way to scam you. It is always the same story in different package.

All these are only possible with your own website, I do not want to give blog as high marks compared to a website as blog has its own limitation. Maybe it can be a low budget way to start.

So in short, here are your Internet marketing strategies for an average marketer:

1.Start a web promotion plan with an effective web design and development strategy.

2.Good SEO strategies, to get high rank in the search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and get organic traffic for your products.

3.Use Email marketing or news letter marketing effectively.

4.Sprinkle your website with other affiliate and or reseller products in case you are making an information website. BUT YOU MUST BELIEVE THE PRODUCT AND USED IT BEFORE YOU TELL OTHERS TO BUY.

5.Build an opt in list of prospects from your auto mail responders. Inculcate a sense of ethics and closeness to your customers.

6.Publish articles supporting your website in various article forums.

7.Write and publish on-line press releases.

8.Blog and interact with your visitors.

9.Submit your website to all relevant directories.
