Every bride wants to look her best on her wedding day.  For many brides, accepting a proposal means accepting a new, healthy lifestyle.  In some cases, it means hitting the gym a few times a week while others make alterations to their diet.  Regardless of what avenue is taken it seems the focus is mainly on squeezing into the perfect dress.  Now don't get me wrong, getting into the dress is definitely important, as is looking and feeling healthy when you walk down the aisle. But let's not forget another major aspect of your perfect wedding look... healthy hair!

So many things damage our hair on a regular basis - styling, hair color and related products - even the food we eat!  That juicy, delicious but fattening double cheeseburger from youR favorite fast food place can not only go straight to your thighs but can also go to your roots - making your lovely locks more susceptible to breakage, thinning and a greasy look.  YUK!
You should also remember that when the big day arrives, you'll be putting your hair through the ringer.  Between brushing, bobby pins, styling gels, heating, curling, and spraying, you'll be pushing your hair to the extreme limits.  And if you already style your hair every day, your hair may not be as prepared to handle the stress - leaving you with dry, brittle, damaged hair on your honeymoon.  (Just because the wedding is over doesn't mean you want your wedding glow to fade away!)

So what can you do to get your hair prepared to look its healthiest for your wedding day?  Well, you can start by reducing the amounts of greasy foods you eat.  Not only will this help your hair, but your complexion and weight loss too.  Taking a multi-vitamin or Omega 3 fatty acid supplement will aid in hair growth and repair as well.  You can increase your Omega 3's through your diet by increasing the amount of dark green veggies, protein rich meats like salmon and even beans.
The next step to promoting shiny, wedding worthy hair is to use the right styling products.  There are plenty of choices to pick from but ultimately you want to use products that provides extra nutrients while still making your hair manageable.

A product line even the celebrities have been raving about is ISH Ionic Rescue Hair Treatments emit negative ions, which neutralize hair's electrostatic charge, making the cuticle lie flat so hair looks smooth and glossy.  Pretty cool stuff, right?
So with a good healthy diet, some extra Omega 3's and the right healing hair products you can prep your hair for the most fabulous day of your life.   You can rest assured your hair will look and feel picture perfect on your wedding day!
