When you are attracted to a person, the first thing you want to do is start flirting. You might even have started before you realized it. There is a great yearning to scream to the person you like that you fancy them. But, in reality people flirt instead of screaming; otherwise you risk scaring them away. It is not easy to start a flirt and, you might find yourself needing some pointers. There are many things that people do to start flirting. I'm talking about flirting for both men and women. They can easily start flirting with the person they like. First, let us begin with the definition for flirting. They are verbal or non verbal impulses or signals that people carry on to entice and attract members of the opposite sex. Of course, this will vary with people of different sexual orientation. Flirting is not as obvious as seduction. Flirting will require special skill that often comes to us naturally. The art of flirting can always be perfected through information on human sexual behavior and more. Flirting is usually the first initial contact when it comes to romantic relationships.

Many times flirting backfires on people, when they do it in the wrong way. There is no right way of doing it really but, there are dos and don’ts. To start a flirt, you need to be very confident. Confidence is what people are looking for when you approach them for a relationship. Boldness is therefore vital because it enables you to step up to what you need to do. This is especially vital in men. To start flirting, do not appear to be rough. Men and women need people to be gentle with them, at least when they are starting out the relationship. Therefore, start off slow but firm. You need to smile; nothing beats a good flirt like smiling to the person you like. A smile has a way of clearing the air and making things lighter. This goes for both men and women who want to start flirting. It is vital for you to read the face of the other person when you smile. You will either see them easing into a conversation or avoiding the conversation. In many cases they will pay more attention to you.

While smiling, it is also vital to read their body language towards your presence. If you are a guy, when she starts getting shy, she is definitely flirting back. She might also start playing with her hair or cloths. When you realize this, you have already started to flirt. There is nothing more exciting than knowing that it is a two way flirt. There are other things you can do to start a good flirt. You can employ humor or give compliments to the person you are attracted to. Some people come with flattering gifts. This goes a long way to win the person over. For girls to start a flirt, they need to change their look. This means that they need to make themselves look beautiful. Guys always go for girls who appear to be beautiful and attractive. Making an effort will definitely go along way to ensure girls start a flirt.
