Many people try to make money with Internet Marketing (IM) at some point during their life. Yet very few people actually make any real money. Of course there are many factors as to why someone does or doesn’t become successful with IM. However, two of the biggest factors are a person’s ability to both work hard and to work smart. If you want IM success then you better be ready to work hard and smart.

Most people realize that if they are going to be successful with anything then they better be willing to work hard. However, not everyone is actually willing to do this. There are some people who try to always take the easy way out and are always looking to take a shortcut. Often these people don’t even realize what they’re doing. Don’t fall into this trap.

If you want to be successful with Internet Marketing then you better be willing to work very hard, especially in the first couple of years. Success does not come easily, especially in the IM world. Although no one is there to look over your shoulder (usually) and there aren’t any hard deadlines, you still need to hold yourself responsible to setting high goals and then achieving those goals.

As we already mentioned, most people do know that they need to work hard if they want to succeed. However, very few people actually realize that they have to work smart too. What does this mean? Simply that a person must be able to manage their time and their tasks efficiently in order to do the best job possible.

Working smart is especially important with Internet Marketing because there is so much potential to be led astray. There are many distractions both online and offline that can eat up your time. And there are so many potential projects you can work on that you can easily get caught-up in working on several projects at once and getting absolutely nothing accomplished. So make sure you always work smart.

It’s important to work hard and smart if you want to be successful with Internet Marketing. Working hard means that there will be times when you have to put in 12-14 hours in day. There will be days when you do nothing but work on IM. And working smart means that you will do what has to be done and do it the easiest way possible. You won’t allow distractions to get in the way and you won’t waste your time trying things that won’t work. If you work hard and smart then you will have a very good chance of making real money with Internet Marketing.
