- Have you ever wanted to be your own boss? - Have you ever wanted to be rewarded for the time you spend working? - Have you ever wanted to decide how much your make?
If your answer is "yes" to all of these questions, chances are you can benefit from wholesaling real estate. Wholesaling is one of the most effective ways to profit in real estate because your only investment is time.
Wholesaling is one of the few professions where the more work you put into it the more you are likely to profit. There are two primary aspects of wholesaling:
- Finding buyers - Finding good deals/sellers
Finding buyers is an ongoing process, but the more good buyers you find, the more leverage you have to profit from all of your deals. Also, the time you spend finding the best deals with sellers represents even more profit potential.
However, wholesaling is not for everyone. If you expect to see a good profit in wholesaling, you need to have the following qualities:
- You need to be willing to work very hard when you are getting started. - You need to be willing to learn all of the ins and outs of wholesaling. - You need to be willing to talk to people you do not know.
Wholesaling real estate requires a great deal of time and effort. There are so many subtleties in the business that if you are not willing to learn all of the tricks of the trade, you run the risk of losing out of possible deals, which means losing out on your profit.
But the benefits of taking the time to learn the trade far outweigh the time you dedicate to the process. With the potential to make thousands of dollars on a deal in less than a few days, and with distressed properties and foreclosing locations at an all time high, there are deals to be fond and profit to be made almost anywhere you look. It is hard to pass up on the opportunity to truly change your life by becoming your own boss and making as much or more than you made as a seat warmer in a cubicle. But beyond that, it is a great feeling to be financially rewarded for the amount of effort you put into the job. A nice change of pace from the office environment, where taking on more work barely gets you a pat on the back.
