Another affiliate check just arrived in the mail...sweet! I love making money online. It provides the perfect medium for showcasing something you have for sale. But the best part is I don't have to physically move an inch. Everything happens in the virtual world. The only physicalities are my fingers on the mouse and keyboard and the physical checks that come in the mail. Nowadays, many internet money making programs even offer the option of paying you by direct deposit so you don't ever have to wait on the mailman.

One question that I get asked whenever someone hears what I do for a living is:

What do you sell online?

My usual answer is that I sell just about any product or service you would find at a brick&mortar shopping mall. To put it simply,I sell any and everything. You can imagine the looks on people's faces as I say this.

But recently it occurred to me what I really do sell ALL the time: MY THOUGHTS!

Although,I operate online shopping sites that do sell almost everything,it's my thoughts that do the actual selling. I have to think of compelling ads that move people to purchase the product/service I decide (decisions are made mentally) is worthy. The site the customer lands on is designed from the thoughts and visions in my mind. The content a person reads on the site is mentally thought up and typed by me. If a customer needs help with something I have to think of the best way to provide the service. Technical issues regarding the site has to be thoroughly investigated and operated on by me. If my business's integrity gets attacked I have to think of the best words to use in order to defend it. This whole business of the internet itself is mainly a conceptual thing - a thing of mental thinking.

In fact,everything I do along with any success I experience is a direct result from my thinking.

This explains why once you learn how to sell -which involves thinking- or the psychological art of selling you'll be able to sell anything. It's not the particular product or service,it's the thoughts of the seller of those particular products and services that matters most. This is why when different people sell the same stuff certain sellers will always make more pennies than the rest...the difference among them resides in their different thinking styles.
