How to get more buyers from your list is a hot topic among Internet marketers as everyone tells you about building a list.

So what do we do, we search for people out there to subscribe to our list. We do whatever we can to start to build a list. Even ask friends and family for their email address. After a few weeks we may have a hundred names if we're lucky. But then the moment of truth arises.

We email our "subscriber list" to promote a product and wait for the sales to start rolling in. We sit in front of our email account in anticipation of all the money we're about to make. But an hour passes, then two, then a day... and out of that hundred or two people, we might get one or two sales. So what went wrong?

We sent the perfect email pitch, we built a relationship with our list, we've sent lots of useful and free content - we did everything we were told to do with our lists! Right?

Well, here's the long awaited answer:

We just spent the last few weeks building a list full of people seeking free content that will never buy anything from us. And your proof is when your sales are only 1% of the people you email.

That right there makes us look for more answers on how to build a successful list of people we can make money from. If you can spend your time finding targeted people for your specific niche who already buy online, you get them onto your list, then they will continue to buy - but now from you! Although giving away free but valuable content is important for your list, you should save that for the newsletter that goes out to your subscribers, after they sign up from buying something from you.
