Most of us get into the rut of being too busy and not productive. We teach 3 different types of "day" for you to use in the scheduling of your time every week. By using these 3 different "days", in any combination, you will get the "top priority" jobs done, and still have time and energy for your family. This is a wonderful and effective way to achieve your weekly goals!

1. Production Days-"Focus on Money" A Production Day is a day spent solely on the focus of generating money in your business. You do not answer emails. You do not answer the phone. You simply concentrate on the further production of income into your business. Build strategies on this day. Make notes on future tasks. This can also include presenting your product to prospects, doing interviews, writing articles, or anything else that will, or can, directly bring income to your business.

2. Flex Days-"The Day to Day" A Flex Day is spent checking things off of your "To Do" list. Answer your emails and phone calls. Take care of the jobs that need to be done. Delegate the jobs that don’t need to be done by you specifically. This type of "day" is the one you will have most often in your schedule.

3. Freedom Days-"Take a Break from your Business" A Freedom Day is just that…FREEDOM FROM YOUR BUSINESS! This is 24 hours away from work. No email, no client calls, no "shop-talk" whatsoever. Spend this time with family or loved ones, and recharge your emotional batteries. Enjoy yourself. Your loved ones need this from you, and deserve your undivided attention. You will be able to focus and not feel guilty when you do need to work.

Now that you understand the 3 different types of "day" to use in the scheduling of your time, let’s try to fill out a 3 month planner. In the beginning I would suggest that you only schedule 1 "Production Day" per week. If you have staff, you will need to tell them on which day you cannot be disturbed for any reason. Next fill in your "Freedom Days". Again, I would suggest only 1 or 2 of these per week. If you have become accustomed to working in your business everyday, then this can be quite a shock. Delegate responsibilities accordingly and let go. Try to plan specific events around these days. Take in a show, sleep in, or go to a gallery. Do whatever is enjoyable to you. You must resist temptation to phone the office. Have faith that it will still be there for you tomorrow. Fill in the rest of the days as "Flex Days"

The next step is to fill in the tasks you wish to accomplish on these work days. You have already planned your desired events for your Freedom Days so let’s keep going. Doing this will greatly increase your productivity! Write the notes in point form, and leave room for weekly additions. Remember, Production Days are strictly for the generation of income into your business. Fill these days to the brim and PRODUCE!

By following this simple method of leveraging your time, you will be more productive; more relaxed, and spend quality time with the people that deserve your undivided attention!
